And don't miss the post-ride party at the finish line at St. Patrick's County Park, featuring pulled pork, live music and a beer tent.
Featured SAG Stops
Fiddler’s Hearth Public House and the Ruth M. Hillebrand Center for Compassionate Care in Medicine and Notre Dame College of Science present – “Irish Hills RSA” at Oronoko Lake SAG (hours 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
Cyclists will be visiting a part of Old World Ireland when they stop for refreshment. There will be food with an Irish flare prepared by Fiddler’s Hearth! There will be beverage choices to quench the mightiest thirst. There will be volunteers direct from the Old Country. The great Irish band Kennedy’s Kitchen will be performing live! There will be Irish games to play for the stout hearted. Be Irish for part of the day!
LaSalle Grill and Cancer Care Partners present – “Biking Bourbon St.” at Elbel Golf Course SAG (hours 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Cyclists stopping at this SAG will be stepping out on Bourbon St. in New Orleans. Mark McDonnell, proprietor of LaSalle Grill, will be preparing fine New Orleans style food. There will be various beverage choices to keep your energy topped off. Come enjoy the kind of high energy live music you hear strolling through the French Quarter! Be served by volunteers right off the streets of New Orleans!
Yesterday’s of Granger and the law firm of LaDue Curran & Kuehn present – “A License to Chill” at Spicer Lake SAG (hours 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Cyclists stopping at this rest stop will feel like they have just washed up on a relaxing ocean front beach! Yesterday’s Restaurant of Granger will be preparing fresh food to keep you light on your feet. There will be various cool beverages to satisfy the most parched throat. There will be live island music. Come sit under a palm tree, and don’t be surprised to see a Parrothead or two!
Indulgence Pastry Shop & Café presents – “A Family Friendly Festival” at Pinhook Park SAG (hours 9 a.m. to noon)
Families participating in the Family Ride will find an entertaining rest stop full of family fun! Indulgence Pastry Shop & Café will be preparing food that the whole family will enjoy. There will be beverage options, music, and games. Come join us for part of your day for some good old fashioned family fun!
Fat Tire Ale and Indiana Beer, Inc. presents – “A Hospice Hawaiian Luau” at St. Patrick's Park (hours 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
To top off a great September day let’s go to Hawaii, put on a Hawaiian lei, and listen to a couple live bands! The food will be the envy of any Hawaiian Luau, and refreshing Fat Tire Ale (and other beverages) will wash away those little aches and pains from a long day (or short day) on your bike!
Grande Mere Inn. , Aldridge Insurance, and Erie Insurance present "Surfing on the Coast." at Weko Beach SAG (hours 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.)
Grande Mere Inn presents - "Surfing on the Third Coast" - Our restaurant in Stevensville, Michigan is known for its great food and stunning view of Lake Michigan, so we're excited to be hosting a SAG stop at nearby Weko Beach. We'll be serving salmon sliders, a pasta salad, and cool beverages. Live music by Mike Struwin will include tunes from Jack Johnson's songbook. Even if the surf's not up, we'll hope for a cool breeze and inspiration to "hang ten" on your bike pedals for a great ride!
